After removing the mud, a fiberglass blanket is placed as additional insulation. A “chicken coop” type net is placed on top of the fiber. This serves as support for the 3 or 4 centimeter cement layer.
At this moment the mortar is placed very carefully so that it forms a homogeneous layer of the same thickness to give it the final round shape. Then we can start staining our oven and giving it the personalized touches we want.
