This beautiful cardboard photo frame to remember beautiful moments and loved ones every day. In many cases, we can make our own frames ourselves, inexpensively and with great success.
The frame below is one of them.
You will make it very easy with a few inexpensive materials and the result is great. So a smooth frame! And why soft? Because inside it has pieces of batt (or other soft material you may have at home like thin foam or pillow stuffing).
Materials:
- Cardboard
- Fabric
- Decorative paper.
- Filling cotton
- Glue
- Ruler
- Various decorative items of your choice such as ribbons and laces.
Cut the three main frame pieces from the cardstock. You can do it freely or count some frames you already have at home for better results.
Place the pieces on the decorative paper to cut it. The decorative paper will cover the back of the frame fragments so that it is more homogeneous and the cardboard does not look bare.
Next, adhere the filler to the frame base piece circumferentially.
Lay out and wrap the fabric.
Cut and open as shown in the image. Here you have to make stitches now. Either by machine or by hand.
Start making the back of the frame to rest on.
Your cardboard photo frame is ready! You can also add decorative items such as lace, fabrics, ribbons for more romantic results!
